Oh, but you did!

I wasn't being snide, I was being sensationalist!

My remarks, be them cynical, are held aloft (and is quickly bottomed out) by the media circus that surrounds the breakup. News like this is the stuff that fills her shows, like The Buzz. She herself knows how to work this system And, bottomfeeders like me blog about this stuff all the time.

I keep thinking Patty Hearst, but I don't know how to work that in here. Maybe later.

But right now, this is what's on the hopper: So, after years of annoying us on national television, years of scandal of her own doing, seasons of gossip-mongering, after wrecking Alma's and Lorna T's family, should I find sympathy for her? Will her apologies soften my heart? Will her begging for forgiveness on national television make me shed tears?

Sure, my sympathies readily go to millions of battered wives and girlfriends silenced by fear. Some, like Kris, are strong enough to break the bonds. But exactly what can I do for them sitting here blogging about it under a moral microscope?

So, you'll have to forgive me for not expressing my sympathies. Kris Aquino to me is hard love. I'm sorry this happened to her. But not sorry enough, just like a lot of us out there, to make remarks about it.

Okay. We don't have all the facts yet, and I'd certainly feel like a chump if I got suckered into believing any lies, especially since I sound terribly "politically correct" here.

But tears and sympathy aside -- you wrote: "Hey, you asked for the bad karma, girl."

Doesn't sound like your "sympathies readily go to millions of battered wives and girlfriends silenced by fear," does it?

Ah, that I attribute to the expired yoghurt I had, which contributed to my less than affable disposition.

Perfectly Sassy: The question's been posed before, and I'm not sure. I think it's for real -- a parody blog would be more over the top. This one retains the trademark Kris A. outrageousness, but is still sober-sounding enough to maybe be real.

No it's not her but people who work closely with her (or so I'm told). I guess the kolehiyala code mixing is infectious. Kinda like the Erap blog without the kikayness.

Most of you have probably already received a copy of that "Incredible Kris" essay by Katrina Stuart Santiago -- very well-written, and totally valid, but I still stand by my original comments. We're not talking about sainthood here, just a recognition that her attention-getting, headline-grabbing, media-orchestrated interview may have implications for other women as well.

kris aquino is such a cheap woman, I was disgusted when i heared that she got STD from Joey...She really deserve what happen to her,having an affair with a married and family man..poor joshua,this boy is gonna end up in theraphy because of her loser mom.If i were you kris be a good mom and please respect yourself.Just take your time and wait for the right man..next time baka hindi lang STD or tulo ang makukuha mo AIDS na.OUCH!hahahahahahahaha.
