Just as they have the freedom to express their views, we have the freedom to express what we think about their views. That's what makes America great, so they need to stop their whining.

No, but I'm a filipina as well. If you are in the limelight, famous, whatever you want to call it, you should expect that "Your Public" will either react positively or negatively to your ney saying...They have to ask themselves if that's a risk they are willing to take.
You're probably presuming I'm a republican and that I am for this war, no? Well I'm not. As an independant, I viewed their comment as just plain old stupid said at the wrong place and wrong time. Just as the Dixie Chicks are powerful in their careers, the American people are showing how powerful they can be...and the American people are just your normal, every day home bodies.
